Hybrid technology

  1. Comfortable walking surface
The walking surface of ECO Flooring always consists of a combination of concrete and rubber. Both concrete and rubber have advantages and disadvantages. ECO Flooring combines the advantages and eliminates the disadvantages.
  2. Optimal walkability
The hybrid walking surface of concrete and rubber ensures high grip for the cows. It also provides excellent walkability for the farmer. The combination of concrete and rubber is the key to this high grip, as two materials provide more anti-slip.

ECO Floors are walking floors and not lying floors. The presence of concrete prevents cows from using the floor as a lying floor.
  3. Higher productivity
With ECO Floors, dairy farmers can achieve higher productivity. Our customers note an increase in the overall health of their animals and higher lifetime production.

DLG has tested ECO Floors in the field with positive results. ECO Floors have a great positive impact on the claw and leg health, draftiness and activity of your cows.
‍The ECO Floors have been recognized as low-emission flooring in several countries.

The structure of the ECO-Floor

ECO-Slat
The basis of the ECO-Floors is the ECO-Slat, standardly loadbearing with tractor loads. The slat has a profiled surface and rounded edges. The ECO-Floors are applicable in almost any barn thanks to our extensive range of products.

Rubber inserts
The rubber inserts are placed in the recesses of the ECO-Slat. These inserts are embedded in the concrete, ensuring a long lifespan. Specialized rubber manufacturers produce the rubber inserts according to the quality standards and design determined by Anders Beton. There are now various types of rubber inserts available to provide a solution for every application.

‍Emission reducing valves
The ECO-Floors are modularly constructed, allowing the valves to be installed both before and after the barn is taken into use. These valves are located beneath the rubber inserts and allow the manure to pass through very effectively. Ask us for references.

‍ECO Slurry Floors
The rubber inserts have slots with a width of 40 mm. The manure and urine pass through these slots into the manure cellar. In the manure cellar, the slurry is mixed regularly. This manure can be used on the land in the spreading period. It is recommended to use a manure scraper or manure spreading robot, in the Netherlands this is mandatory. The slurry content is ± 15%.

New: 2K Inserts

ECO2K Inserts are developed with a focus on furthersustainability. These inserts are fully recyclable and are produced with a 90% lower CO2 footprint than traditional ECO Inserts.

ECO-Floor for renovation

Performing a new construction project with ECO Floor is often accompanied by renovation of the older barn area. ECO Renovation Grids are the ideal solution for this. The height and length are tailored to commonly used dimensions of old concrete gratings. See tab technical specifications.

ECO Floor in combination with our profiled gratings

ECO-Floors are often used in waiting areas at milking robots. In collaboration with our customers, we developed a simple solution for a seamless transition between the ECO-Floor and profiled slats. This resulted in the ECO-Profile Transition piece.
