Open day at pig farm Exterkate in Bentelo with our PORCO grids - 17 June

The Exterkate family cordially invites you to an open day on the occasion of the

opening of their organic pig farm. Take a walk around the farmyard, see the

new barn, take a look at the sows in the pasture and learn more about the

organic pig farming.

Details:

Partially closed organic pig farm with capacity for 170 sows realised

within existing stall walls with walkout and grazing.

✔ Maternity wards built across the central corridor.

✔ Piglet nests infrared controlled electrically heated, without further heating in the

maternity wards.

Aimed at ease of work by working with one central corridor and short walking lines.

✔ Electronic animal identification for all animals. Digital recording of all animal data,

including weights of sows, piglets and fattening pigs.

CDI with 12 silos and with liquid dosage for optimal feeding in all phases.
